Fall Symposium is this Thursday, October 20, 2011—Cyberbullying from Classroom to Courtroom: Contemporary Approaches to Protecting Children in a Digital Age.
Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Albany Law School Scholars, students, practitioners, educators, and members of the public are welcome, the event is free, and open to the public.

The panelists will be divided into two panels, both moderated by Albany Law School Professor Robert Heverly. The first will focus on the legal aspects of cyberbullying, including issues of free speech and potential suits arising from cyberbullying. The second panel will focus on how cyberbullying directly affects educators in the classroom, as well as what they are doing to protect students.

Journal of Science & Technology Article Selected Among the Best of 2010
Congratulations to Ali Mojibi, whose article, An Empirical Study of the Effect of KSR v. Teleflex on the Federal Circuit's Patent Validity Jurisprudence, has been selected for publication by the Patent Law Review. The Patent Law Review is published annually by Thomson Reuters and selects the best law review articles published within the last year related to patent law. Mr. Mojibi's article was published in the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology in the spring of 2010.
